What is Emotional Freedom Technique and how does it work?

Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT), also known as tapping, is a Cognitive talking therapy combined with acupressure points to release trapped psycho-energetic blockages, trauma(s), to reinstate physical, mental and emotional balance of an individual.

Tapping on specific acupuncture points allow the nervous system to relax by sending signals to the Amygdala in our brain, therefore is providing an optimal state of mind for the client to acquire more cognitive shifts, benefits, and therefore promote self-healing. It is a powerful technique to use when psycho-energetics release is needed in the body. Cognitive therapy can sometimes trigger uncomfortable emotions, feelings or sensations but tapping will help to cope with their intensity to create safer space for the client to explore them in a much deeper level.

Tapping assist in rewiring the cognition of the brain, so it is easier to change unwanted patterns, mindsets, or behaviours.
EFT reinstate the body’s energy.

Where is the treatment taking place?

Due to Covid-19, we are providing online session at the moment until we can perform more safely one to one sessions in our clinic.

How is the treatment carried out and how many sessions will I need?

After completion of our questionnaire, we recommend to have one session to determine in more details your requirements and good rapport with the practitioner. The initial sessions last usually longer and can take up to 1h30 depending on the individual needs, but consultations typically last an hour.
Then we recommend to take a treatment plan of 6 to 8 sessions to be able to measure improvements. However, the number is greatly variable and totally depends on the client’s journey to acquire cognitive shifts and self healing. Some people can see results in one session, others will have to go on a long term journey.

Payments must be paid in advance to secure the session(s).

Can I still take my prescribed medication while I am having a course of EFT sessions?

Yes. EFT treatments may enable you to reduce or even stop taking some forms of medication but you should always consult your doctor regarding any change of prescription. DO NOT stop taking medication without professional guidance.
